Audit process

From document map to findings memorandum

A clear sequence so finance teams know when to freeze drafts, when we read, and when corrections must land before the filing date.

01

Intake

Engagement letter, filing deadline, and a shared folder for the draft pack plus source statements.

02

Document map

We list every schedule against the official checklist and mark what is still draft versus locked.

03

Desk review

Line reading of financial claims, evidence trails, and cross-schedule consistency.

04

Briefing

Findings memorandum delivered; clarifying call focused on high-severity corrections.

What we need from you

  • Latest draft of the full application pack in the form you intend to lodge
  • Source financial statements and bank summaries for periods cited in the pack
  • The lender or programme checklist currently in force
  • Prior query letters, if this is a resubmission
  • A named preparer who can answer schedule questions within 24 hours

Cut-off discipline

At kickoff we agree a document cut-off. Material arriving after that date either waits for a follow-on pass or becomes a priced addendum. This protects both the filing calendar and the integrity of severity rankings.

Rush windows are available when a bank or subsidy office fixes a date with little notice. Rush work narrows scope to fatal issues first.

Reviewer working through printed financial schedules at a desk

Desk review happens against the actual forms — not summary decks alone.

After the memorandum

Your team owns the corrections. We do not silently rewrite figures without your preparer’s agreement. If a query letter arrives later, amendment support can pick up from the same document map.
