Data we collect

• Inquiry and newsletter details you submit (name, email, organisation, message, optional filing date and engagement preference)
• Engagement materials you provide (application packs may contain personal data of directors, guarantors, or staff)
• Technical logs reasonably needed to operate the site (for example, IP address and browser type when essential cookies or server logs apply)
• Cookie preference choices stored locally in your browser

We do not seek sensitive categories of data through the public inquiry form. Please avoid sending national identification numbers or full bank credentials by unsolicited email.

Purposes

We process data to respond to inquiries, perform contracted reviews, issue invoices, improve site usability (if analytics cookies are accepted), and meet legal record-keeping duties in Taiwan.

Legal bases

Depending on the context, we rely on performance of a contract, steps prior to contract, legitimate interests in operating a professional practice, consent for optional analytics cookies, and legal obligations for accounting records.

Retention

Inquiry emails are retained up to 24 months unless a client relationship continues. Engagement files are retained for at least seven years to meet professional and tax record expectations, or longer if a dispute is active. Cookie consent choices remain in localStorage until you clear them.

Your rights

Subject to Taiwan personal data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain processing based on legitimate interests. International transfers

Our primary operations and storage are in Taiwan. If a processor outside Taiwan is used (for example, email delivery), we take reasonable contractual and organisational steps appropriate to the destination and the nature of the data.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data with service providers who host email or file storage under confidentiality duties, with professional advisers when required, and with authorities when legally compelled.

Security

We apply access controls to engagement folders and favour encrypted transit for electronic transfers. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please use agreed channels for highly confidential packs.

Children

This site is directed to business and organisational users. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
